Biography
Ryan Sullivan plans to graduate in Spring of 2010 with a Ph.D. in Economics from Syracuse University.  His research and teaching interests are in public economics, labor economics, urban economics and applied microeconomics.  The first two chapters of Ryan's dissertation analyzes the incidence of tobacco taxes.  The third chapter of his dissertation examines the effects of childbearing subsidies on fertility.  He received a Master's Degree in Economics from Iowa State University in 2005 and a Bachelor's Degree from University of Wisconsin - La Crosse in 2002.
